It is with a sad and heavy heart that we heard the news that Roger passed away suddenly last Sunday. Multiple winner of the Club Championships and sailor of Phantoms, Scorpion, 505, D-One and Solo his all round abilities in a boat were always in evidence. A man that was keen to share his knowledge and injecting fun into sailing, he will be sadly missed at the club by his many friends.
Rogers funeral will take place on Tuesday 29th August 2017
A private committal of close family & friends will take place first, then a celebration of Roger’s life will follow at;
13:30 – St Mary’s Church, Langport TA10 9QR.
All who knew & loved him please feel welcome to attend.
Please do not feel you need to wear black. We’d like you to attend as you feel comfortable.
Could we ask for Donations rather than flowers if possible? Details of the chosen charities will be on the order of service.

We are also looking into dedicating the Club Championships to him this year and hopefully will be accepting donations towards Bart’s Bash in his memory. Details to follow as soon as we get them.
